Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Nilai, Malaysia, seeks a Regional Operational Excellence Lead to drive an Asia-wide improvement roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites. Qualifications

• Black Belt Lean Six Sigma qualification with significant experience delivering transformational operational and financial improvements.
• Proven background in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Operations Transformation within complex organisations.
• Strong track record of delivering measurable performance improvements across multiple sites or business units.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build effective relationships across functions, cultures and geographies, notably Asia
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities supported by data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional operations leaders across APAC to define priorities and deliver a structured operational excellence roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Lead high-impact improvement programmes that enhance productivity, safety, quality, cost performance and operational efficiency.
• Drive adoption of the JM Production System and continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Build operational capability through coaching, training and sharing of best practices, tools and governance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources and deliver sustainable business improvements.
• Lead and develop a team of Operational Excellence specialists while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
