Job summary

Demant Technology and Innovation Centre Malaysia is seeking a Regional IT Support Specialist to join our Global IT team in Kuala Lumpur. You will provide Level 1 and 2 IT support across APAC, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and you will deliver high-quality customer service while collaborating with colleagues across countries.

This role requires ITIL-based incident management, asset records, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in IT support or Service Desk.
• MSP experience highly regarded.
• Experience providing remote and onsite end-user support.
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, software, OS and networking.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies in enterprise IT.
• Exposure to Citrix and Cisco technologies are desirable.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support via phone, email, remote access, and onsite.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Deliver IT services per ITIL-based incident, request, change, release processes.
• Administer user accounts and server resource access.
• Coordinate procurement and deployment of approved IT hardware.
• Install, configure, and support IT infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Ensure meeting room and AV equipment operate; coordinate repairs with suppliers.
• Support regional production systems per service catalogue commitments.
• Record all incidents, requests, tasks, and time entries in ServiceNow.
• Maintain asset records and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT services and user experience.
