Job summary

J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an HR Generalist/HRBP to lead the regional HR team across the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, managing day-to-day HR operations, headcount planning, and employee relations while traveling to regional hubs.

You will oversee basic payroll inputs, liaise on statutory compliance, drive performance reviews and change initiatives, and monitor HR metrics and site budgets to support local operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4–6 years HR Generalist/HRBP experience (Logistics, Warehouse, or E-commerce background preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a team.
• Basic understanding of payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and Malaysian labor laws (EA 1955).
• Willingness to travel across Malaysia as needed.
• Strong communication and leadership with intermediate Excel for data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the regional HR team in managing day-to-day HR operations, headcount planning, and employee relations.
• Travel regularly across regional hubs and warehouses in East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia to conduct site audits, handle employee grievances, and support local operations.
• Oversee basic payroll inputs (OT, shift allowances, attendance, leave) and liaise with payroll team on statutory compliance (EA 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
• Manage performance review cycles, PIPs, change management initiatives, and on-ground employee engagement.
• Monitor HR metrics, validate manpower reports/dashboards, and manage site HR budgets.
