Job summary

Generali Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Specialist, Finance Reporting (Regional) to prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages in line with MFRS17, MFRS4, and group policies. The role supports treasury, controls, and senior management with timely, accurate reporting.

You will collaborate with actuarial, methodologies, and other finance teams worldwide, maintain templates, and help with budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory submissions to BNM and PIDM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• ACCA or MIA certification desired.
• Minimum 5 years in Insurance/Finance.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS 4 & 17 is a plus.
• Analytical and numerical skills; business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Regional reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annual packages per MFRS and group policies.
• Local statutory reporting (MFRS4/17) and BNM requirements.
• Assist treasury and investment activities with governance and analysis.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs and templates for budgeting/forecasting.
• Support ITSR and Annual Financial Statement preparation.
