Job summary

AIG Shared Services (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to support monthly and year-end closings, reconciliations, and journals, while preparing internal and external reports. The role also covers quarterly BNM reporting for MFRS 4 and 17, audit support, and driving automation in financial processes.

Qualifications

• Finance process experience preferred; MFRS17 experience highly preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with a high level of responsibility.
• Strong time management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Able to work with integrity and within cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and year-end closing activities including reconciliations, journals and financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support new enhanced BNM reporting for MFRS4 and MFRS17 on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with audits by providing requested information in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems through automation and streamlined procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects and provide financial insights.
• Support the implementation of new or ongoing projects as needed.
• Attend ad-hoc assignments as required.
