Job summary

AIG is seeking a Finance Executive to support monthly and year-end closing, journal entries, and financial analysis in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will prepare internal and external reports and assist with IFRS 17 data mapping and system enhancements.

The role emphasizes improving finance processes, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while contributing to the Total Rewards Program and a collaborative in-office culture.

Qualifications

• Finance operations and close familiarity with process controls.
• Experience with MFRS17 is preferred.
• Ability to prepare regulatory reports and management reports.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with IFRS 17 data mapping and system enhancements.
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiency and controls.
• Support regulatory projects and cross-functional finance initiatives.
