Job summary

Teach For Malaysia is seeking a Coaching and Support Manager to lead training, coaching and support for Program Duta Guru participants across Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. You will partner with district, state and federal stakeholders to develop educators and future STEM leaders, expanding impact from classroom practice to district and state levels.

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in education.
Experience in coaching and mentoring teachers.
Bachelor’s degree in any field; coaching certification is an added advantage.
Proven ability to manage timelines and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor training and coaching strategies and support systems to ensure participants develop instructional competencies and leadership capacity.
Manage, coach, and develop the Coaching and Support team — including Programme Coordinators — to deliver effective and participant-centered coaching and mentoring support.
Strengthen collaboration with relevant stakeholders at schools/district/state level to ensure cohesive and impactful development experiences for participants.
Oversee the tracking and evaluation of participants growth, satisfaction, and retention through data-driven insights, and apply findings/initiatives to enhance training and coaching, mentoring and learning support interventions in collaboration with the Program Duta Guru Leadership Team.
Foster a sustainable, collaborative, and high-performing Coaching and Support team, with a culture aligned with Program Duta Guru’s goals and Teach For Malaysia’s core values.
Support programmatic alignment and decision-making as part of the Program Duta Guru leadership team, contributing to the delivery of participant, student, and systemic impact, as well as an integrated exit strategy in the final phase of programme implementation/ intervention.
Manage budget, manpower and other resources with the leadership team to ensure smooth execution within the Programme and Org-wide vision and mission while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes.
