Job summary
Wetown Electric (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and deliver Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions for regional renewable energy projects. You will contribute across the solution lifecycle, from system sizing and proposals through integration, project execution and commissioning, while engaging with international customers and project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in renewable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in renewable energy or BESS.
- Experience in BESS design and system integration.
- Knowledge of battery technologies, PCS, EMS.
- Strong diagram interpretation and specification drafting.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Good English communication.
Responsibilities
- Design and size BESS solutions for regional projects.
- Develop electrical single-line diagrams and system architectures.
- Coordinate integration of BESS, PCS, EMS and power equipment.
- Evaluate performance and feasibility; support project execution.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers and partners.
- Provide site support during installation, commissioning and testing.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
