Job summary

MR DIY TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a Stores Operations Manager to lead multiple stores in Kedah, driving sales, profitability, operational efficiency, and service quality. You will ensure SOP compliance, safety standards, and visual merchandising.

Travel within the zone to coach Branch Managers, implement improvements, monitor KPIs, and report performance to Management. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in retail operations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in retail operations, preferably multi-store.
• Strong leadership to manage store teams and drive performance.
• Solid knowledge of SOPs, compliance, and operational standards.
• Track record of improving sales, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned zone and work independently.
• Proficient in analyzing sales reports, KPIs, and operations data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the performance of assigned stores to meet targets.
• Monitor store performance, KPIs, payroll budgets, and expenses.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure SOP/compliance and safety.
• Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers to improve performance.
• Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, sales, and loss prevention.
• Identify gaps and implement action plans for improvement.
• Ensure execution of marketing strategies and company initiatives.
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, and shrinkage.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Collaborate with departments to plan and monitor projects.
• Prepare and present performance reports to Management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, licenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
