Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia seeks a Senior Active Directory Operations Lead to steer the AD administration team, ensure secure and reliable directory services, and align AD strategies with regional IT objectives.

The role requires extensive AD expertise, IAM knowledge (Azure AD, LDAP, SSO), and collaboration with infrastructure and security teams to optimize configurations while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position with regional coverage.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory components and IAM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers.
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory services.
• Ensure AD stability, security, and performance across the organization.
• Serve as escalation point for AD incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Implement security best practices for privileged access and audit policies.
• Monitor AD performance, analyze trends, and optimize configurations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to evaluate and implement AD tools.
• Manage budget and allocate resources to meet deadlines and goals.
