Job summary

Yan Yun Jian Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an HR/recruitment assistant to support our restaurant operations. You will focus on F&B recruitment and sourcing candidates for Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Service Crew, Kitchen Crew and other positions.

The role involves screening candidates via JobStreet and social media, arranging interviews, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining recruitment records, with close collaboration with restaurant management.

Qualifications

• F&B recruitment experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in recruiting restaurant or service industry staff will be an added advantage.
• Diploma or degree is not a major requirement; we value experience, attitude and capability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn and able to take initiative.
• Good follow-up skills and able to handle multiple recruitment tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment for our restaurant operations, including Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Service Crew, Kitchen Crew, and other F&B positions.
• Source and screen suitable candidates through JobStreet, social media, recruitment platforms and other channels.
• Arrange and conduct interviews with potential candidates.
• Coordinate the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
• Maintain proper recruitment records and follow up with candidates.
• Work closely with the management and restaurant team to understand manpower requirements.
• Assist with other HR-related duties when required.
