Qualifications

Job description

• Initiate outbound calls to customers with outstanding payments, discuss suitable repayment options, and negotiate payment arrangements to achieve collection targets.
• Assess overdue accounts, identify potential high-risk cases, and provide relevant findings and recommendations to support effective debt recovery.
• Proactively obtain and validate customers’ latest contact information to maintain accurate records and enhance collection success rates.
• Maintain professional call standards while ensuring full compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices.
• Manage sensitive or difficult customer interactions with professionalism and diplomacy, applying effective negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to reach positive outcomes.

Requirements :

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in debt collection or credit recovery, preferably with hands‑on experience managing overdue accounts and new accounts.
• Education: Minimum SPM qualification, High School Diploma, or an equivalent certification.
• Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities, with the confidence to handle challenging customer interactions and escalated complaints.
• Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of debt recovery regulations, operational procedures, and collection performance metrics, including target flow rates.
