CIMB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Collection Officer to perform dunning activities, using collection tools and scripts to minimize delinquency and impairment and to support business goals.

The role requires experience in collections/recovery, ability to meet KPIs, good Bahasa Malaysia and English, and strong communication and negotiation skills; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Banking/recovery experience preferred; 2+ years

Responsabilidades

• Perform phone dunning on delinquent customers following approved scripts
• Work on accounts per guideline in collection system
• Ensure portfolio is attempted within set time
• Prepare proposals for Rescheduling & Restructuring and settlements
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly KPIs
• Attend to walk-in customers with Manager
• Provide resolutions to customer inquiries
• Assist Manager on ad-hoc projects

Responsible for performing collection dunning to customers with the aid of Collection tools and scripting to minimize flow through, delinquency and impairment in achieving the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities *

Business Performance and Management

• Perform phone dunning activities on all delinquent / impaired customers assigned with adherence to the approved Collection Script to meet business goals and objectives.
• Successfully work on accounts as per guideline requirements set in collection system.
• Ensure the portfolio assigned are attempted within the stipulated time set by manager
• To manage portfolio appropriately towards target setting.
• To render full support towards team performance
• All customers enquiries are to be attended within 24 hours
• Prepare proposal for Rescheduling &Restructuring (R&R), Compromised Settlement, payment proposal & etc.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly KPIs are met
• Ensure timely litigation are instituted.
• Provide workable resolution to customers enquiries
• To attend walk-in customers (with the Manager’s presence) to further discuss on repayment plan
• Avoid Operational Losses
• Assist Team Manager on any ad-hoc projects

People Management

• Liaise with Manager on customers’ issues.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure satisfactory rating on all audit reviews.
• Ensure compliance of internal policy and procedures, Bank Negara guidelines and regulation, i.e. FSA /IFSA 2013, Fair Debt Collection & etc.
• Highlight suspicious and new account behavior to Team Manager to mitigate fraud.
• With relevant Collection and Recovery experience
• Banking Experienced not less than 2 years
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Computer literacy – basic MS Words and Excel
• Candidates with experience in Collections, Recovery, Call Centre, Customer Service, Telemarketing, Telesales, or Banking Operations will have an added advantage.
• Able to work in a target-driven environment
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in additional languages and dialects is an added advantage
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
