Job summary

KK Group Of Companies in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Site Acquisition Manager to lead the expansion of KK Super Mart outlets across major locations in Kuala Lumpur and beyond. You will identify prime retail sites, negotiate with landlords, and drive the end-to-end site acquisition process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in retail property, leasing, site acquisition or real estate development.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage due to liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate & Site Acquisition Manager to support our retail expansion. The role will focus on identifying strategic retail locations, negotiating with landlords/developers, preparing commercial proposals and business cases, and managing the site acquisition and lease process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential retail locations for KK Super Mart's expansion.
• Conduct site feasibility and market assessments.
• Negotiate rental rates, lease terms and other commercial arrangements with landlords/developers.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, mall operators, developers and agents.
• Prepare business proposals and presentations for Management/Board approval.
• Manage tender submissions, site visits and proposal negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support new outlet development.
• Monitor lease terms, rental benchmarks and property market trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in retail property, leasing, site acquisition or real estate development.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage due to frequent liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong experience in lease negotiation and landlord management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in retail/FMCG/convenience retail is an added advantage.
