Hitachi Rail STS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for the Junior Project Engineer Protege Trainee position in Kuala Lumpur.

In this role you will support project coordination, engineering data review, and the delivery of rail signaling projects, under supervision of the project management team. Ideal candidates have a relevant engineering degree and up to three years in railway or infrastructure projects; fresh graduates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• 0–3 years experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure or engineering projects; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Knowledge of railway standards and project lifecycle processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day activities and coordinate overall project tasks.
• Review drawings, specs, and engineering submissions; support design reviews.
• Assist testing and commissioning activities; participate in site inspections.
• Maintain project documentation, minutes, and progress reports.
• Support variations, claims, cost monitoring, and management reports.
