Job summary

BP Healthcare Group in Ipoh, Malaysia, invites a radiologist to join its on-site team. You will perform X-ray, CT and MRI imaging, interpret studies, and report findings to doctors and specialists across BP Diagnostic Centre / Specialist Centre networks.

Qualifications include MMC recognition with APC, NSR Radiologist registration, and at least 5 years in diagnostic radiology. Willingness to travel to different outlets and participate in CME activities is required.

Qualifications

• MBBS or MMC-recognized medical qualification.
• Registered with the MMC and APC.
• NSR registration as Radiologist.
• Minimum 5 years of diagnostic radiology experience.
• Experience in CT, MRI and Ultrasound reporting preferred.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support BP Diagnostic Centre radiology services.
• Train medical officers and specialists on radiology services.
• Maintain company QA, safety, and infection control standards.
• Direct maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform radiologist duties on various imaging procedures.
• Develop collaboration within BP Healthcare Group for integrated radiology services.
• Ensure conformity with radiology standards and CME activities.
• Interpret and report X-ray, CT, MRI imaging.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiologist IPOH. We are looking to fill in the radiologist roles all over Malaysia. A Radiologist is responsible for using advanced imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans and MRI scans to take images of the body. The images are used by doctors and specialists to diagnose, monitor and treat various medical conditions. As a Radiologist, you will work with various healthcare professionals and patients, and must have a solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and support BP Diagnostic Centre / Specialist Centre pertaining to radiology services needed.

Train medical officers/specialists of BP Diagnostic Centre / Specialist Centre on various radiology services.

Maintain established company policies and procedures objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Direct the maintenance of company facilities, equipment, supplies and materials in a condition to promote efficient, safe and effective services for patients, doctors and staff.

Perform the duties of radiologist on various radiology procedures.

Develop and foster collaboration among BP Healthcare group and affiliated services to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing radiology procedures.

Ensure compliance with all standards of care of radiology as deemed by regulatory agencies.

Conduct CME courses for BP Healthcare Group or personnel as and when required.

Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI.

Ensure timely and accurate radiological reporting.

Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Assist in administrative tasks when required.

Job Requirements / Qualification

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).

Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Registered with the National Specialist Register (NSR) as a Radiologist.

Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.

Strong reporting and communication skills.

Experience in CT, MRI and Ultrasound reporting is preferred.

Must have own transport.

Can work under flexible working hours.

Willing to learn, responsible, good interpersonal skills and meticulous.
