Job summary

Pulai Springs Healthcare Centre ACC in Skudai, Johor Bahru, seeks a Radiologist to interpret X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and mammography, and provide timely reports to support patient care.

You will collaborate with referring doctors and the multidisciplinary team, maintain high imaging quality, patient safety, and be willing to work weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Medical degree recognized in Malaysia (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Completed recognised specialist training in Radiology.
• Registered with the MMC and NSR, with APC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and report radiology studies accurately and timely.
• Perform and supervise X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and mammography.
• Collaborate with referring doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage workload in a busy clinical environment.
• Be available for weekends and public holidays when required.

Job description

This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist position based at Pulai Springs Healthcare Centre ACC, Skudai, Johor Bahru. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical imaging studies, including X-ray, CT Scan, Ultrasound and Mammography, and providing accurate and timely reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The role also involves working closely with referring doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting imaging quality and patient safety.

Pulai Springs Healthcare Centre ACC is an Ambulatory Care Centre located in Skudai, Johor Bahru, Johor providing outpatient medical, diagnostic and specialist healthcare services to the local community. Key responsibilities

• Proficiency in core Radiology and Medical Imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT Scan, MRI and Ultrasound.
• Competent in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging, with emphasis on image quality and patient safety.
• Able to interpret and provide accurate, timely and comprehensive radiology reports.
• Strong clinical judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with referring doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Committed to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, patient safety and ethical standards.
• Able to manage workload efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and patient-centred approach.

Requirement

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) recognised in Malaysia
• Completed recognised specialist training in Radiology
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and eligible to practise in Malaysia
• Registered with the relevant National Specialist Register (NSR) or eligible for specialist registration
• Proficiency in core Radiology and Medical Imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT Scan, MRI and Ultrasound
• Competent in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging, with emphasis on image quality and patient safety
• Able to interpret and provide accurate, timely and comprehensive radiology reports
• Strong clinical judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with referring doctors and multidisciplinary teams
