Job summary

BP Healthcare Group is hiring a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install and test medical equipment across diagnostic, laboratory, imaging and clinical devices. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, fault troubleshooting and ensuring calibration records are up to date.

The candidate will support clinic and lab staff on equipment usage, participate in upgrades and new site setups, and be willing to travel between BP Healthcare outlets with a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in medical equipment servicing (fresh graduates with strong technical skills may be considered).
• Basic understanding of medical device regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and test medical equipment (diagnostic, laboratory, imaging, and clinical devices).
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on medical equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in medical equipment servicing (fresh graduates with strong technical skills may be considered)
• Experience with diagnostic, laboratory, imaging, or clinical equipment is an advantage
• Basic understanding of medical device regulations and safety standards
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel between outlets
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Responsible, independent, and service-oriented attitude
