About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our medical imaging team in Penang Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate imaging records. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound (depending on certification and departmental needs).
  • Ensure all imaging is completed in accordance with safety guidelines, radiation regulations, and clinical protocols.
  • Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal-quality images.
  • Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value, communicating any concerns to radiologists or supervising physicians.
  • Maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions or calibration issues promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and secure handling of patient data.
  • Uphold infection control and workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless clinical workflows.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or equivalent.
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging (new graduates are encouraged to apply if applicable).
  • Knowledge of radiation protection standards and imaging best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call rotations if required.
