Job summary

AIA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting professional to manage local statutory and group regulatory reporting, including IFRS templates, financial statements and audits.

The role anchors ICFR controls, prepares quarterly/annual reports, supports group and local audits, reconciles balance sheet accounts, and guides junior members while driving process improvements in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting practices.
• Ability to liaise with group finance, business units and audits.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly/semi-annual/annual IFRS reporting templates following group closing instructions.
• Prepare AIA Group financial statements, management accounts and audit schedules.
• Support local and group regulatory reporting and respond to audit queries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items timely.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and participate in UAT and ad hoc requests.
