Job summary

AIA Malaysia invites applications for the Financial Reporting & Analysis role within Group Finance. You will lead IFRS reporting, prepare statutory financial statements and audit schedules, and ensure timely, accurate reporting across local and group entities.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CIMA/MICPA or pursuing.
• 3–5 years in financial reporting, accounting or auditing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS quarterly/annual reporting templates per group Closing instructions.
• Prepare group financial statements, management accounts and audit schedules.
• Support local and group regulatory reporting and audits with timely responses.
• Act as ICFR champion and complete control self-assessments and certifications.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and automation in reporting workflows.
