Job summary

EDP Renewables APAC seeks an Analyst to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) process in a global shared services setup. You will ensure timely, accurate financial records and contribute to month-end and year-end close activities.

Responsibilities include posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with AP/AR, Tax and Treasury to resolve issues. A strong IFRS/SFRS understanding and proficiency in SAP or Oracle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Audit experience is preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared services or GBS environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle and advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with IFRS and SFRS and company policies.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Tax, and Treasury to ensure smooth financial data flow and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in accruals, provisions, and adjusting entries during close periods.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
