Job summary

OTT CREATION MARKETING is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production operations in Ipoh, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will lead production teams, monitor 4M resources, and collaborate with Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and R&D to achieve production targets.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Bachelor's in related fields and at least 5 years of production management experience, with strong knowledge of GMP, Halal, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in traditional medicine, health supplement, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, traditional medicine, health supplement, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, Halal, quality management, and workplace safety standards.
• Proven experience in people management and production team leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across different departments.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
• Mechanical knowledge or technical skills will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Lead and manage production teams, including manpower planning, scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
• Monitor production resources covering 4M (Manpower, Materials, Machinery, Methods) to maximize efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Ensure production processes comply with GMP, Halal, workplace safety, and company quality standards.
• Monitor raw material usage and verify the quantity/weight of materials before production.
• Investigate production, quality, and process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain, R&D, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor production costs, budgets, resource utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and control costs.
• Prepare production reports and provide regular updates on production performance and improvement plans to management.
• Maintain a safe, disciplined, and productive working environment within the production area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
