Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd seeks an R&D Officer to support product development in a manufacturing setting. You will translate drawings, BOMs, assembly and packing instructions to relevant departments.

Coordinate with HQ R&D to address inaccuracies or optimization opportunities in technical drawings and ensure documentation accuracy across teams. Prepare samples, conduct tests, and verify labeling and packing specifications while maintaining organized records.

Responsibilities

• Translate and distribute product drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), assembly instructions, and packing instructions to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with HQ R&D to address inaccuracies or optimization opportunities in technical drawings.
• Communicate updates and amendments to technical documents across relevant departments.
• Prepare product samples and handle testing requests from the Sales Department.
• Conduct tests and verify product samples to ensure compliance with product requirements.
• Liaise with HQ R&D regarding any necessary modifications to sample requirements.
• Maintain and organize Factory Keeping Samples after customer approvals.
• Verify product color labels and other necessary labeling requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in carton specifications, including die-cut dimensions, printing, fitting, and artwork approvals.
• Inspect and validate packing materials.
• Prepare color panels for edge banding and applique card verification, ensuring proper storage after customer approval.
