Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Malaysia seeks a Diploma-qualified engineer to join the R&D manufacturing support team. You will assist R&D Process engineers, set up and convert machines for tests and laser marking, and help deliver engineering samples on time.

You will collaborate with process engineers on development activities, collect and analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and provide cross-functional support across multiple process areas to meet project and production objectives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• More than two years of working experience in engineering/semiconductor line.
• Basic technical knowledge in electronics/semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D Process engineer to run R&D engineering builds.
• Able to setup and convert machine (Test/Saw/Laser Mark process).
• Work with Process engineer on process development activities including executing development runs, collecting and analyzing process data, troubleshooting process issues.
• Provides cross-support across multiple process areas, and ensures timely delivery of engineering samples to meet project and business objectives.
• Support shift schedule changes and provide coverage based on business and production needs.
