Job summary
BioFact Life Sdn Bhd is seeking a Research and Development Manager to lead the R&D team in Muar, Johor. You will oversee SOPs, KPI development, and product development to meet ISO criteria and halal regulations.
Responsibilities include planning R&D activities, coordinating with production, monitoring documentation, and driving cost reductions while maintaining quality and timelines. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Food Technology and at least three years of related experience are
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Food Technology.
- Experience: Three (3) years in related industries.
- Knowledge: Food Act, halal regulation and pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing SOPs & KPIs for R&D and train the team.
- Plan and oversee R&D processes to comply with ISO criteria.
- Coordinate product development within timelines and test schedules.
- Interact and communicate ideas professionally on time and costs.
- Monitor R&D documentation and testing schedules.
- Identify root causes and recommend product specifications improvements.
- Work with production to maximize productivity in manufacturing.
