Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineer to conduct feasibility studies and drive improvements across product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes. You will validate performance and optimize processes, while preparing technical documentation such as PPAP and work instructions.

The role also involves coordinating sample development with Production, QC, and Sales, researching new materials, and recommending manufacturing solutions to enhance quality and support growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial).
• 1–2 years of progressive R&D/Technical/Quality experience in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or QMS.
• Excel for data analysis using MS Office Suite.

Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial), Polymer/Materials Science, or a closely related technical field.

Experience: Minimum 1 -2 years of progressive working experience in a Research & Development, Technical, or Quality role within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Software Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel for data analysis.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin to facilitate coordination with internal and external clients.
