Job summary

Bon Food Industries in Malaysia is seeking a Food Science/Technology or Microbiology graduate to support monthly and weekly production planning, coordinating with procurement, and conducting trial runs for new formulations. The role includes product testing, ingredient evaluation, and ensuring halal documentation in line with SOPs.

The candidate should have a degree in Food Science/Technology/Microbiology and, ideally, up to 1 year of manufacturing experience, with strong HACCP and GMP

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or Microbiology.
• Experience in Manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Well-versed with HACCP, GMP and other food-related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify ingredients needs required in monthly or weekly production plans with the further processing department.
• Plan and coordinate with procurement, assist in coordinate trial run and conduct process validation of new formulation.
• Carry out product testing and analysis as per requirement & SOP.
• Evaluate and manage best value ingredients and consumables for the production department.
• Check and confirm purchase requisition for ingredients and product packaging.
• Monitor and control halal certificates and documentation of ingredients.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Analytical, well organised, good project management skill and well-equipped with multi-tasking ability
