Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior R&D Electrical & Electronics Engineer to lead front-end feasibility studies, testing, and design optimization for new products. You will analyze with theory, simulations, and prototype evaluations to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions.
Role requires 2–4 years in power supply and analog/digital circuit design, strong problem solving, and good English/Mandarin communication within a fast-paced environment that meets deadlines and quality

This role involves conducting front-end feasibility R&D studies and performing engineering tests and evaluations to ensure design compliance with project specifications and customer requirements. You will conduct technical analysis using theory, software simulations, and prototype evaluations, and design innovative solutions to enhance product function, performance, stability, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Work with R&D team members in conducting front-end feasibility studies
Perform engineering tests and evaluations to ensure design compliance with project specifications and customer requirements
Conduct technical analysis using theory, software simulations, and prototype evaluations
Design innovative solutions to enhance product function, performance, stability, cost efficiency, and reliability
Provide innovative electronic solutions that are patentable and add value to sales and market shares
Ensure accurate adherence to the New Product Development (NPD) process and maintain high-quality design validation and verification
Design for manufacturability in accordance with IPC standards
Support the engineering team in resolving electronic-related problems
Regularly update activity progress and resource workload
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Electronic or equivalent
Minimum 2 to 4 years working experience in power supply, analog and digital circuit design
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Analytical and troubleshooting skill, including soldering and use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscope and signal generator
Ability to work in fast-paced organization, meeting multiple deadlines and succeeding under pressure
Ability to plan and prioritize activities
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
