Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineering professional to design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production in Penang. Under limited supervision, you will review designs, support manufacturing with failure analysis and debugging, and generate detailed test reports prepared for production rollout.

A Bachelor’s in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is preferred; candidates with related experience may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Related experience and/or training acceptable.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
• Support manufacturing with failure analysis and tester debugging.
• Prepare testing procedures from design to initial production.
• Generate reports and analyses of test data.
• Oversee testing equipment design, calibration and data reduction.
• Direct engineering staff in fabrication of testing apparatus.
• Coordinate procurement, installation of instruments and controls.
• Determine test conditions, sequences, and phases.
• Ensure safety and follow security procedures.
