Jora Malaysia is seeking an R&D Engineer to design and develop software and hardware solutions that meet operational requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to design, implement, and test innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate should write clean, maintainable code, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose product improvements based on development experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design products and systems according to operational requirements and expectations.
• Develop and integrate new technologies involving both software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test innovative solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using preferred programming languages.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Analyze and summarize issues encountered during software development and propose product improvement suggestions based on development experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously learn and apply new programming languages and technologies.
• Support team members and assist with additional tasks as required.
• Provide technical training and support when necessary.
