Job summary

IMETAL (M) SDN BHD in Sarawak seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join our premier roofing team. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions while supporting procurement and cost control across projects. A Diploma/Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.

Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must and QS software is an advantage; you will evaluate supplier quotations

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; QS software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submission.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), quotations and cost analysis.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and coordinate with Project team.
