Job summary

IMETAL (M) SDN BHD in Sarawak seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join our premier roofing team. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions while supporting procurement and cost control across projects. A Diploma/Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.

Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must and QS software is an advantage; you will evaluate supplier quotations

A Quantity Surveyor role at IMETAL (M) SDN BHD, a premier roofing company in Sarawak specializing in manufacturing metal roofing, cold form and hot rolled welded trusses, ceiling, dome and façade, as well as design, supply and install for these products and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems.

Key responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submission

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), quotations and cost analysis

Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts

Monitor project costs and coordinate with Project team

About you

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field

Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office; QS software is an advantage
