Job summary

Conexus Studio in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Malaysia office. You will handle tender administration, cost estimation, and procurement support for commercial projects across Southeast Asia.

The role requires 5-8 years in QS with local contract knowledge and strong MS Office skills. You will work with the projects team and designers, perform site visits, and manage VO/invoice processes, ensuring timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 5-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with Commercial Main Contractors or related field.
• Knowledge of local contracts (CIDB) and standard forms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Attend briefing with clients to understand project tender scope.
• Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities (BQ) and quantity take-off for project tenders.
• Preparation of accurate Cost Estimates for commercial & retail projects.
• Analyze quotations from suppliers/contractors to support procurement decisions.
• Prepare comparison tables and highlight cost discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate costing into cost administration.
• Ensure tender submission dates are adhered to.
• Coordinate with Projects Team & Designers for costing related matters.
• Assist in preparing purchase orders and work orders.
• Check & verify subcontractor's claims/VO/Invoices.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify work progress and quantities.
• Upkeep accurate Project VO administration.
• Provide aftersales servicing quotation to clients.

We’re looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our Malaysia office as we continue growing across Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for someone with with excellent skills in space planning and conceptualizing innovative workplace design that accentuate our client’s corporate image.

What you'll be doing:

Tender Administration

• Attend briefing with clients to understand project tender scope.
