Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle tendering, estimation, quantities take-off, BQ, cost analysis and contract documents for high-rise projects in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of QS experience in main-construction companies.
• Experience in high-rise projects.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Quantity Surveyor activities, including tender preparation, estimation, quantities take-off, and claim preparation.
• Be fully in charge of BQ, materials computation and contracts preparation.
• Prepare project budgets and cost analysis.
• Develop and manage tender documents, tender reports, quotation costing, and contract documents.
• Ensure timely handling and certification of on-going project claims and payments including VOs.
• Ensure smooth communication and coordination with consultants, architects, engineers, builders, contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and ensure that all variation orders are properly recorded and claimed.
• Attend site meetings as required by management.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior.

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:45pm; Alternate Sat, 8.30am – 12.15pm)

HQ Based Experience

Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of Quantity Surveyor activities, including tender preparation, estimation, quantities take-off, and claim preparation.

To be fully in charge of BQ, materials computation and contracts preparation.

To prepare project budgets and cost analysis.

Develop and manage tender documents, tender reports, quotation costing, and contract documents.

To ensure timely handling and certification of on-going project claims and payments including VOs.

To ensure smooth communication and coordination with consultants, architects, engineers, builders, contractors and suppliers.

Monitor and ensure that all variation orders are properly recorded and claimed.

Attend site meetings as required by management.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

3-5 years experiences as QS in main-con companies

Experience in high rise project.

Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
