Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for cost estimation and contract management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, bills of quantities, and other tender and contractual documents.
• Analyze construction methods, materials, and programs to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Manage and control project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget.
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors on costs and contractual terms.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Advise on procurement strategies and contract administration.
