Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or related field.
• Solid knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract administration.
• Experience with BOQ, tender documents, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Ability to read drawings and precast shop drawings.
• Strong negotiation and communication with clients and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, tender documents, and project proposals.
• Handle both pre-contract and post-contract administration.
• Prepare, submit, and evaluate progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and progress payments.
• Verify subcontractor work on site and ensure claims reflect actual progress when required.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures to maximize cost efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Project teams to resolve commercial, contractual, and cost-related issues.
• Review precast shop drawings for quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, contract records, and correspondence.
