Job summary

JAC JAYA SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and valuation for civil and infrastructure projects.

You will assist in take-offs, cost estimation, BQ preparation, and cost reporting while coordinating with project teams on site in Selangor.

Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous, and willingness to travel to construction sites when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings, BQ, and quantity measurement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and cost reports.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and verify completed works on site.
• Assist in subcontractor payment assessments and final account preparation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors.
