Job summary

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our civil construction team in Malaysia. You will be responsible for take-offs, cost control, tender costing and post-contract activities to support project financials.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related fields, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply and 3–4 years for senior positions. Independent work and accuracy are essential in a dynamic property development group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Senior position requires at least 3–4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Take off quantities, variation orders and project cost control.
• Tender costing and tender documentation.
• Pre-contract work including scope analysis, supplier/sub-contractor sourcing, BQ preparation, pricing and tender submission.
• Post-contract work and follow up with consultants on payment certificates.
• Evaluate tenders and quotations by sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Attend site valuation for internal claims and site measurement when necessary.
• Prepare estimation and taking off quantities for construction.

Pre-contract work includes analyzing and summarizing scope of tender, sourcing of suppliers and sub-contractors where necessary, preparation of BQ, pricing and submission of tenders.

Post-contract work and follow up with consultants on payment certificates.

Evaluation of tenders and quotations by sub-contractors and suppliers.

Attend site valuation for internal claims and site measurement when necessary.

Prepare estimation and taking off quantities for construction.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.

Senior position: Requires at least 3–4 years of relevant experience. A different salary rate will be offered based on experience and qualifications
