Job summary

AMD Construction is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our project team in Malaysia. You will handle cost estimation, budgeting, and BOQ preparation for construction projects.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with at least 3 years of experience; knowledge of BIM modeling is a plus and will be prioritized. You will liaise with contractors and suppliers, monitor costs, and support tender documents, ensuring cost control from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Quantity Surveyor.
• Prior civil/site project exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM modeling is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs for construction projects.
• Measure and value work done on-site for progress claims and payments.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants on costing matters.
• Monitor project costs and budget to ensure cost control throughout the project.
• Assist in preparing variation orders and final account.
• Support BIM modeling work where applicable.
