Job summary

AMD Construction SB is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our project team in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. You will handle cost estimation, budgeting, and take-offs to support project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of experience, and familiarity with BIM modeling. Prior civil/site experience is preferred and you will coordinate with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Candidates with civil engineering or construction site experience will be prioritized.
• Knowledge of BIM modeling is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs for construction projects.
• Measure and value work on-site for progress claims and payments.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants on costing matters.
• Monitor project costs and budget to ensure cost control throughout the project.
• Assist in preparing variation orders and final account.
• Support BIM modeling work where applicable.
