Colform Sdn Bhd in Klang is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage subcontractor schedules, claims, and cost control on construction projects. The successful candidate will liaise with the Project Engineer to handle deductions and ensure timely progress certifications, while administering subcontractor payments and monitoring material wastage.

Requirements include a Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 2 years of QS experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• 2+ years of QS experience.
• Experience with Government Projects is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia are required; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare schedules of subcontract works and invite tenders.
• Liaise with Project Engineer on deductions from subcontractors for materials, plant, work, or hired items.
• Prepare and submit progress and contractual claims to the client and ensure timely certification and settlement.
• Administer subcontractor claims and verify subcontractor payments.
• Monitor wastage of major construction materials.

Prepare schedules of subcontract works to be called together with a list of tenders to be invited.

Liaise with the Project Engineer on deductions from subcontractors for the materials, plant, work purchased, hired or carried out on behalf of subcontractors.

Prepare and submit progress and contractual claim to the client and ensure timely certification and settlement of contractual claim.

Administer subcontractor claims and verify subcontractor payment.

Monitor wastage of major construction materials.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying.

Minimum 2 years working QS experience.

Experience with Government Projects in an advantage.

Able work independently and under pressure.

Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia, and proficiency in Chinese will be added as an advantage.
