Our client "China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited" is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our leading Hong Kong construction team. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals willing to relocate to Hong Kong to work on significant projects, manage contracts, and develop expertise in cost estimation and control.

What you'll be doing?

• Contract Administration: Manage main contracts and subcontracts for construction projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Cost Management: Conduct cost estimation, control budgets, and oversee material procurement to optimize project finances.
• Claims Handling: Address contractual claims and subcontractors' claims, safeguarding the company's interests while maintaining positive relationships.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
• Experience: Ideally, 5 years of relevant experience in the main contractor side. However, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor position.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in Chinese and Cantonese, to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders in the construction industry.
