Job summary

Presto Universal Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost planning and procurement for large-scale fit-out and construction projects in Malaysia.

You will prepare BOQs, measure quantities from drawings, evaluate subcontracts, maintain cost data and ensure timely submission of bids with bilingual English/Chinese liaison.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (General Contractor field).
• General Reading and Writing in Chinese and English to liaise with English and Chinese speaking associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents comprising BOQ, tender clarifications and unit prices.
• Produce quantities measurement from drawings.
• Prepare quotations to clients and ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bids.
• Call quotations and analyse costing for tender; negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Prepare/verify/upkeep of project variation work and site instructions for subcontract and main contract works.
• Finalise subcontract and main contract final accounts.
• Manage procurement process and cost control.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summaries.
• Prepare closing of projects.
• Maintenance of cost data management system.

Job description

Requirement:

At least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (General Contractor field)
