Job summary

Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its project management team.

The role focuses on cost control, tendering, and financial leadership across building and civil projects, from design through completion. The successful candidate will prepare costings, tender documents, and BOQs, manage progress claims, and ensure accurate recording of all tender and contract documents, while supporting the superior with project budgeting and cost

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveyor or related course with more than 3 years' experience.
• Mastering of measurement rules and taking off (e.g., NRM, SMM).
• Experience in writing cost estimation and managing the tendering process.
• Well-manageable in Progress Claims and Valuations of project.
• Deep understanding of Contract Administration.
• Excellence in price analysis and price negotiation.
• Experience in hotel, high-rise building, or mixed-development projects is an advantage.
• Willing to travel/ relocate.

You will act as the cost expert Commercial and Financial Lead relating to building and civil engineering projects and be responsible for controlling, estimating, and optimizing the project budgets from initial design to completion.
