Job summary

PC Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Shah Alam. You will manage cost control, contract administration, and project support across data center projects.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in engineering or related field, minimum 5 years of experience, willingness to be site-based, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with data center projects preferred.
• Willing to be based at site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims and variation orders with supporting documents.
• Attend site valuations, measurements, and meetings to support contract and cost management.
• Assist in preparation and award of contracts, including contract review and subcontractor valuations.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
• Provide pre- and post-contract support, including cost monitoring and contractual correspondence.
• Act as liaison between contract manager and project manager on variations and clarifications.
• Collaborate with project manager to prepare regular physical progress reports.
• Assist in managing contract variations, track changes in scope, and prepare EOT applications.
• Oversee post-contract activities: monitor construction costs, evaluate variation orders, finalize accounts.
• Track retention sums held by clients and ensure timely release at project completion.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team! If you have a strong background in cost control, contract management, and project support, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims and variation orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission with proper supporting documents.
