Precision Control Sdn Bhd is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Shah Alam. You will manage cost control, contract administration, and project support across site-based activities, ensuring timely claims, valuations, and variations.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Electrical/Electronics or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience; prior Data Center project exposure is advantageous and willingness to be based at site is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with Data Center Projects (Advantageous).
• Willing to be based at site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims and variation orders with supporting documents.
• Attend site valuations, site measurements, and project meetings for cost management.
• Assist in the preparation and award of contracts, including review and subcontractor valuations.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Provide pre- and post-contract support, including cost monitoring and contractual correspondence.
• Act as liaison between contract manager and project manager on variations and clarifications.
• Work with the project manager to prepare regular physical progress reports.
• Assist in managing contract variations, tracking changes in scope, and preparing EOT applications.
• Oversee post-contract activities such as monitoring costs and preparing final accounts.
• Track retention sums held by clients for timely release after completion.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team! If you have a strong background in cost control, contract management, and project support, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit progress claims and variation orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission with proper supporting documents.
• Attend site valuations, site measurements, and project meetings when necessary to facilitate effective contract and cost management.
• Assist in the preparation and award of contracts, including contract review and recommending subcontractor valuations.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Provide pre- and post-contract support, including cost monitoring, site valuations, and contractual correspondence.
• Act as the key liaison between contract manager and project manager on variation matters, and contractual clarifications.
• Work closely with the project manager to prepare regular physical progress reports.
• Assist in managing contract variations, tracking changes in scope, and preparing EOT applications where necessary.
• Oversee post-contract activities such as monitoring construction costs, evaluating variation orders, and preparing final accounts.
• Track retention sums held by clients, ensuring timely release upon project completion.
