HEY ROCKET PTE LTD in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Quantity Surveyor (Fresh Graduates) for a fixed-term contract based in Sentul. You will assist with quantity surveying activities, perform take-offs and cost estimations, review drawings, and support tender and cost documentation.

Training will be provided, with a Kuala Lumpur project site assignment. Applicants with a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields are preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with 1–3 years also

Job description

Quantity Surveyor l Fresh Graduates l Up To RM3,600 – RM4,000

We are hiring 2 Quantity Surveyors to join a leading global construction and engineering group with major projects across Malaysia, including high-rise buildings, infrastructure, industrial facilities and data centres.

This is a fixed-term contract position (renewable annually) based in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with quantity surveying activities for construction projects
• Perform quantity take-offs, material calculations and basic cost estimation
• Review construction drawings and support measurement works using AutoCAD
• Assist with tender preparation, quotation analysis and project cost documentation
• Support project teams with cost control and progress tracking
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
• Participate in structured training and mentorship programs

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related disciplines preferred
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction or related fields also considered
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read construction drawings
• Good understanding of material quantity calculations
• Science or Computer-related academic backgrounds welcome if you have relevant skills or self-learning experience
• Willing to work on-site/project office
