Job summary

IKATAN GEMAJAYA SDN BHD in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to track project costs, variations, and claims. You will assist in progress claims, final accounts, and tender documentation while maintaining meticulous project records.

The ideal candidate holds a degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying with 1–2 years’ experience, strong cost management knowledge, and proficient MS Office skills. Knowledge of Malaysian regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, processes, and cost management.
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with Malaysian construction regulations and industry standards.
