About the job

Company Background

We are representing our client a prominent property development, construction and engineering company. Our client is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of Junior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor (Based at Setia Alam, Selangor).

Job Description

Pre & Post Contract

  • Preparation of contract documentation for main contracts, sub-contracts and work orders; shortlist and recommend sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Involved in actual measurements, build up project budget, and build up rates for pricing of tenders using Cubicost software.
  • Manage and supervise project contracts, including preparing monthly costing and budgetary reports, claims, consultants, and sub-contractors.
  • Preparation of interim valuations, variation orders and Final Account upon completion.
  • Attending site meetings and joint site valuations.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building or related field; equivalent graduate with 1-2 years experience.
  • Proactive and willing to learn.
  • Able to work in a team.
Working Hours
  • Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (9.00am to 6.00pm)
  • Alternate Saturdays (9.00am to 1.00pm)
